" From little things

BIG things grow"

Zoe has long held a passion for youth mental health and believes prevention is possible through safe social opportunities that foster connection, understanding, friendship and wholesome fun.

Zoe was diagnosed with ADHD at age 13 and also struggled with significant anxiety in her earlier years but she was determined not to let these challenges hold her back from achieving her life goals.

After much blood, sweat and tears Zoe proudly graduated from Curtin University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy transforming the view of what was possible for her life.

Since rolling out Mindfulness in schools at Secret Habour and Mindarie Primary schools as well as working with the Royal Agricultural Society facilitating the Kids Kitchen live on stage at the Perth Royal Show, Zoe realised that working with the younger age groups could be a powerful place for change.

Zoe now specialises in Paediatrics and works in private practice helping younger children with ADHD and similar difficulties. Zoe believes her earlier challenges have only served to make her a more insightful and effective therapist.

In May 2019, Zoe established 'Treasured Youth Co'  a pioneering NFP ‘for the community, by the community’ that aims to connect, empower and inspire WA youth and regional communities at a grassroots level through building meaningful and sustainable local opportunities that lead to improved wellbeing outcomes and mentally thriving communities.

Zoe was celebrated as a 'Semi-finalist in the Channel 7 Young Achievers of WA Awards' as well as being nominated for Woolworths Community group of the year awards as a result of her efforts.
